Rooms, Suites and Villas

Subtle
elegance
and luxury extends to each of the 55 rooms and
suites located in the Main House on the bluff, in the Villas that spread
throughout lavish gardens down to the beach of Meads Bay and in the
Terrace Suites overlooking Turtle Cove. Each exceptionally large room or
suite is stylishly decorated with rich dark walnut wood accents, rattan
furnishings and colourful Haitian artwork, all affording stunning sea
views. Extraordinarily spacious, the rooms and suites start from 720
square feet up to as large as 8,500 square feet. The Main House features
twenty ocean view double rooms, seven separate villas located in the
gardens, on the bluff and on the beach offer double rooms in the upper
level and one bedroom suites on ground level, the junior suites and two
bedroom suites are located in the Terrace which is close to the Pool
Suite and Jacuzzi Suites, all overlooking secluded Turtle Cove. Every
room and suite features a large bathroom showcasing Italian marble in
Adria Gold, Travertino Classico or Botticino.

Double rooms
(garden or ocean view)
In the Main House:
Situated on the sea cliff with a stunning view of Meads Bay,
Malliouhana's Main House has twenty double rooms which offer spectacular
Caribbean vistas of the turquoise sea and the setting sun. Each of these
rooms is generously proportioned at over 720 sq ft and typically
features a small entrance lobby with doors leading to the marble
bathroom and the oversized bedroom where glass accordion-style doors
open onto a large covered patio.
In the Villa:
Located on the upper floor of each villa, these large double rooms are
approximately 800 sq. ft. and are similarly configured to the double
rooms located in the Main House with the same furnishings and
appointments. The option of inter-connecting doors between rooms makes
these the ideal choice for parents travelling with children.

One bedroom suite (garden or ocean view)
One bedroom suites are located on the ground
floor of each villa. Each suite is over 1,500 sq ft and has an entrance
lobby, bathroom and bedroom similar in style to those in the double
rooms. In addition, there is a large lounge, a second covered patio and
one or more open terraces. One bedroom suites are ideally suited for
families with small children as the lounge area is equipped with a
pull-out bed.

Pool suite
 The
ultimate in luxury and privacy, Malliouhana's exquisite Pool Suite,
overlooking secluded Turtle Cove Beach, has a staircase entrance way
with a floor to ceiling window offering a breathtaking view of the
turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The curved staircase leads down to a
5,000 sq ft suite below and its main attraction, a private 6ft deep
outdoor swimming pool is completely sheltered from view of other nearby
units. The suite is stylishly decorated in the hotel's signature
Mediterranean design with rattan furnishings accentuated by Haitian and
Asian artwork. It features a large master bedroom with dressing room and
marbled bathroom equipped with a whirlpool tub, separate shower and
treadmill exercise machine. There is a living room area with glass
sliding doors leading directly to the pool on one side and onto the open
terrace and sun deck overlooking Turtle Cove on the other side. There is
also a study which can be transformed into a junior bedroom with
additional glass doors leading to the private pool and a second marbled
bathroom with dual showers. This is the only suite at Malliouhana that
also comes equipped with additional in-room amenities in conjunction
with the hotel's standard room amenities including cable television, DVD
player, fax machine and personal exercise equipment. |
Jacuzzi suites
 Two
1,500 sq ft junior suites, each with their own private outdoor Jacuzzi,
are located on the upper level of the Pool Suite villa above Turtle Cove
beach. Each suite has a spacious entrance lobby with a seating area that
converts into a queen-size pull out bed. A large marble bathroom with a
bathtub and separate shower connect to the main bedroom which features
an additional seating area with glass doors that open onto a secluded
terrace and the private outdoor whirlpool offering a magnificent,
sweeping sea view. |
Junior suite
 The
Terrace overlooking Turtle Cove features junior suites, each
approximately 1,100 sq ft in size, comprised of a separate sitting room
with a queen-size sofa bed, large marble bathroom with bathtub,
independent shower, two hand basins and bidet. The main bedroom area has
a king-sized bed and an additional seating area looking out over the sea
with glass patio doors leading outdoors onto a covered patio as well as
a private sun terrace. Appropriately classified as a Bridal Suite,
Malliouhana's most secluded accommodation unit is the ideal selection
for honeymooning couples. This oversized junior suite is located
adjacent to the Terrace and has all the features of a Junior Suite yet
it also includes a private Jacuzzi located on the outdoor terrace. |
Two bedroom suite
An ideal choice for families, each of
Malliouhana's two double-bedroom units are situated at either end of the
Terrace. Both offer furnishings and attributes similar to those of the
Junior Suites and are over 2,000 sq ft. A small sitting area separates
each bedroom which comes equipped with a king-sized bed. Both bedrooms
have their own bathroom as well as a covered patio and a large open
terrace with breathtaking views of the Caribbean.
